She just moved into the building with her boyfriend, they plan to get married in June. He lives with his wife and his little daughter on the same stairs. A ray of autumn sunlight illuminates the hall when they meet for the first time. Just one look is enough for everything to tilt, for their worlds to collapse. They should not feel desire for each other, nor should they succumb to the throb of love, much less meet secretly, kiss passionately, or love each other madly. However, that's what they do.
