Three generations of women, two continents and an exciting journey full of stories and adventures. Mayka is about to turn forty when she embarks on a trip from Spain to California, with her husband Óscar and her son Leo. Little by little they will delve into the American way of life and its "eternal summer", but they will discover that all that glitters in the "golden state" is not gold, nor in their peaceful lives. To overcome her fears, doubts and contradictions, Mayka will have to rediscover the past, review her conflicts with her motherhood, reconcile with herself and recover her identity. She will rely on the places and women that have marked her life and on new landscapes and friendships that will influence her new way of being in the world.
