Detective R.G. He comes from suffering a case in the troubled North of Africa that almost cost him his skin. To forget what happened and make up for his wounds, he decides to escape to Prague for a few days to meet his lover, a Brazilian croupier who mysteriously disappears. Dejected, he returns to Barcelona, where he is hired by an insurance company to search in Brazil for traces of the supposed dead man who had just signed a very valuable life insurance policy. Everything seemed in order, but it is a mysterious death, or disappearance. Tunisia, Madrid, Switzerland, Hungary, Barcelona and finally Brazil are witnesses and protagonists of the investigations, ruminations, infatuations and disappointments of this character as real as the matter that takes him from one continent to another. From his adventures we conclude that a few innocent words can change the course of many people's lives. Is law or ethics more important? His work as a detective can be marked by his feelings, and love can lead him to make dangerous mistakes. In the end, the most important thing will be to return from Brazil alive.
