This new edition of "Secular Morals" incorporates another text by the always insightful Robert Louis Stevenson. Both texts reflect on issues such as money, work, the relationship with the profession and honor: "Secular morality", an essay on ethics written in the spring of 1897 in Edinburgh, and the article "The writer's moral commitment ", published in The Fortnightly Review in 1881. Stevenson's extensive work includes his novels "Treasure Island", "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" and his unfinished masterpiece "Weir of Hermiston", as well as his relevant essays and high poetry.
