Mont
Premi Sebastià Juan Arbó 2020
Palomeras Rovira, Esther
From a rainy night in 1940 to October 1, 2017, "Mont" is a choral story forged by the experiences of four generations of the same family. Set, basically, between Bonal -a village located on the southern slope of the Mont massif- and the capital of the Alt Empordà, past and present are linked. Subtly, they show that human passions (fear, desire, indignation, jealousy, compassion, nostalgia, love...) remain immutable and are the engine to close or open new paths to freedom. A true and delicate story that frames four generations of the same Catalan family.
