Gabriel Casas i Galobardes began his career as a sports photographer, was a key part of the weekly Imatges (1930) which introduced a new concept of graphic magazine, linked to the most modern European trends and lived the world of the show, the nights in Barcelona and the shallows. Casas portrayed the first globalization that, in many ways, anticipates today's world. Modernity by Gabriel Casas i Galobardes brings together 224 photographs and reconstructs their context, with magazines, objects, posters, drawings and literary texts by Josep M. de Sagarra, Luigi Pirandello and Jean Genet that revive the Barcelona of the 1930s.
