Miño
antoloxía do relato galego actual
Caño, Xosé Manuel de
(ed.)
In the anthology "Miño", which arises from an initiative of the Amigos do Libro Galego/Artes e Le-tras association, coordinated by the journalist Xosé Manuel del Caño, 38 stories are collected that make up an overview of the current state of Galician narrative. As Rexina Vega writes in the introduction to the work, the texts provided by the authors show "the enormous diversity and quality that characterizes the narrative of our country today". These are literary proposals that "transit free and porous, dialogue with otherness aware of the ambivalence that underlies every definition of identity without, however, losing the accent that marks them as the product modeled by a complex here, a community that shares a language or, what it's the same, home and wound." For his part, Antón Riveiro Coello highlights in the epilogue "the infinity of rehearsed registers and stylistics, the plurality of voices, the narrative approaches, thematic concerns, the different techniques of fascination of all this creative magma that has some synthesizing power, of breath of a country through the mouths of the referents of the current literary scene".
