This is a story by Dani Futuro that perhaps should not be told... It is starred by a Daniel Blancor who has lost his innocence and who, after spending decades adrift in space, returns to Earth. But the world he encounters is not the one expected: climate catastrophes, famines, fundamentalisms and technocracy reign on the planet. Daniel only wants to settle accounts with his past, meet again with his beloved Iris of Andromeda and take revenge on those who years ago assaulted and destroyed the Galaktos, the ship in which they traveled with his friends. A bloody countdown begins and no one, not even Daniel himself, will emerge unscathed from that persecution. While the World Dies is a monumental album, triple-length and in full color, with which Carlos Giménez returns with renewed mastery to the genre of intergalactic adventures that elevated him at the beginning of his career. However, this is also a dark story in which heroes and villains must atone for their faults, a story set in a world where salvation is barely in sight, a story that, while not edifying, deep down perhaps it deserves be counted.
