Mientras alguien nos recuerda
Conde, Carmen (1965- )
Barcelona, 1946. After receiving a call at the Vía Layetana police station, Inspector Aparicio and Agent Muñoz, two policemen from the criminal brigade, go to the Santa Cruz Mental Institute to investigate the murder of Sister Natividad. The institute was a reference center for Barcelona psychiatry, but after the civil war it passed into the hands of untrained religious who brutally repressed the sick. The sister, who was in charge of the female wards, has been found dead in the operating room. She has been murdered in a very violent way using the medical instruments in the room, which suggests that the motive for the crime was her revenge. Aparicio and Muñoz will find many impediments to advance in their investigations. Both the head of the institute, brother Olegario, and a senior Francoist official, Jaime Bertrán de Andrade, are going to try to prevent the two policemen from discovering the terrible secrets that are hidden between those walls.
