Mi gato Yugoslavia

Statovci, Pajtim

Yugoslavia, 1980s: As Emine's arranged marriage falls apart, the country is bleeding to death in a bloody war. Decades later, his son Bekim is doubly marginalized in Finland, as an immigrant, and as a homosexual. His only company is a boa constríctor, which he lets roam freely around his apartment, despite his phobia of snakes. One night, in a gay bar, Bekim meets a talking cat. This witty, fickle and manipulative creature will take Bekim back to Kosovo to face his demons and understand his family history -and even find love.
