Mi amiga Anne Frank

Mi amiga Anne Frank

la verdadera Anne Frank, descrita por su mejor amiga

Pick-Goslar, Hannah

At the age of five, Hannah Pick-Goslar fled with her family to Amsterdam to escape Nazi Germany. On the first day of school there, she made friends with an outgoing and bright girl named Anne Frank. For a few wonderful years the two were inseparable and enjoyed quiet pajama parties and children's games in the Rivierenbuurt neighborhood. However, one day in 1942, both of their lives changed forever. The Nazi occupation intensified and suddenly Anne and her family disappeared. While Hannah wondered about the whereabouts of her friend, the fate of her own family took a new turn: they were arrested and sent to Westerbork, a transit camp, before being transported to Bergen-Belsen. In this concentration camp, surrounded by death and misery, Hannah received astonishing news from her friend and did not hesitate to put her life in danger to help her.
