Meridià de sang
McCarthy, Cormac
We are in the middle of the 19th century in the middle of the border area that separates Mexico from the United States. The Mexican authorities and the State of Texas organize a paramilitary expedition to eliminate as many Indians as possible. It is what is called The Glanton Group, whose spiritual leader is Judge Holden, a hard, violent and cruel man who is convinced of his immortality. At a certain moment the butchers of Glanton decide to stop the slaughter to start a new extermination: the law of the jungle begins to prevail. In the middle of this nightmare, a fourteen-year-old boy will be forced to face the world.
