Menors i migrants

relat d'una educadora en un centre d'acollida

IV Premi de Periodisme Literari UAB

Sonadellas, Marina

The hermeticism of the administration and the silence (or censorship) of the professionals who work there make the operation of juvenile centers remain in opacity and stigma. The author of this journalistic chronicle gives the privileged testimony of those who live with migrant children and explains their day to day: the culture shock, the adaptation, the hopes, the discovery of a new world, the attacks received, the context social... Samir, Hmad or Mohamed are some of the protagonists of this story, which offers an unprecedented view of the reception centers, their operation and their reality.
