Meneses de Skópelos
Schwartz, Fernando
Patricio Meneses is a seriously atypical diplomat who the government turns to when it is necessary to resolve a mess that does not admit solutions, let's say official, but slightly immoral when not frankly illegal. On this occasion, he has to recover three girls who have been kidnapped on the Greek island of Skopelos without anyone having yet demanded a ransom; They are the daughters of the president of the government and the foreign minister, as well as an Olympic swimmer full of gold medals. Meneses embarks on a maddened and dangerous search, which takes him panting from Greece to Siberia, with several stops in between, each more risky. To do so, he enlists the help of a ruthless Russian colonel, his friend, and a mistress from his youth, whom he calls Melina Mercouri and sometimes Desdemona.
