Memòria vintage
de l'home a la Lluna a Pulp Fiction
Pagès, Vicenç
Vintage memory is a personal and collective journey that starts with the arrival of Man to the Moon in 1969 and ends with the screening of Pulp Fiction or the first Play Station in 1994. Vicenç Pagès Jordà gathers four hundred names, words and concepts that had their glorious age and today live mainly in the memory of those who were there, that is, the baby boom generation. The author recreates with humor and intelligence the customs, objects, music, cinema, television, trades and words that have been modified or have disappeared. Vintage memory is a journey that will captivate everyone born in the sixties, but will amuse and interest absolutely everyone. We will find the aerobics, the telephone booth, the BUP, the Viper, the Scouting, the Labor Party, the bale, phytipaldi, John F. Kennedy, kung fu, La Clave, lumumba, macuto, Mad Max, mandanga, Mickey Rourke, panning, puppet, Rayuela, Marisol ... and concepts almost disappeared as silence.
