Macarena, an accredited investigative journalist in Barcelona, runs away threatened when she finds herself involved in a scandal in Mexico City looking for a new life. After the breakdown of her marriage, she discovers new horizons and decides to write a crime novel. Forced to face her fears, the protagonist will be involved in a story in which mystery, places and objects are intertwined, which will lead to an unexpected and revealing ending. Memory of the palate is a fiction within another fiction, a story of two cities on two continents and two time planes.
