According to Aristotle, man is a talking animal. But he is also a dialogue being. To dialogue is to speak with others with the will to understand each other. In dialogue we become ourselves and only thus can we relate to other men. However, many times understanding is not achieved and mediation must be resorted to. This book helps foster dialogue, conceived as a useful way of dealing with and solving our everyday problems. It is also a method to practice and develop mediation techniques and participatory processes for the peaceful resolution of conflicts and reaching a mutual agreement.
