Mare meua
Fauro Abad, Adrián
There, Here and There. The same place is called differently depending on who names it. A city that is a neighborhood, a neighborhood that is a house, a house that is a letter. Mare meua travels through the memory of places through imperceptible spatial jumps between a living room, a room, a restaurant, a motorcycle or a car. In this place, memory disappears like the graffiti on the walls, the neighborhood gardens, the stories they tell us, the natural landscapes and the language. The stories in this book are a vast social, folkloric and political reflection of the rebellion of those who refuse to live, in some way, under predetermined conditions. Mare meua is the Valencia that has remained alive in Castellà.
