Maragall i el govern de la Generalitat
les polítiques del canvi
Muñoz i Lloret, Josep Maria
(ed.)
Pasqual Maragall, Mayor of Barcelona and President of the Generalitat, is one of the most prominent political figures in the country's contemporary history. His passage through the presidency of the Generalitat de Catalunya between 2003 and 2006 was associated with the rugged vicissitudes that surrounded the genesis of the 2006 Statute and the effects it caused. This fact has prevented highlighting the whole work of the government of the Generalitat when Maragall presided over it. How important has that political action been? Has it been an insignificant parenthesis in the recent history of Catalonia? Or, on the contrary, has it represented the implementation of innovative policies that have been projected beyond those years of government?
