Manual de neuropsicología
Forn Frias, Cristina
In this work the basic foundations of neuropsychology are developed for students and professionals interested in entering this discipline, in a clear and synthetic way, without pretending to delve into very specific investigations. The manual consists of twelve chapters structured in two blocks. The first block addresses the description of classic neuropsychological syndromes: alterations in attention and consciousness; perception and recognition disturbances: agnosias; language disorders: aphasias and other disorders related to communication; memory disturbances: amnesias; motor alterations: apraxias, and frontal lobe alterations: dysexecutive syndromes. In a second block the main neuropsychological disorders are treated: neuropsychology of dementias; neuropsychology of head injuries; neuropsychology of cerebrovascular accidents; neuropsychology of epilepsies; neuropsychology of demyelinating diseases: multiple sclerosis, and neuropsychology of movement disorders.
