A thirteen-year-old girl is found dead in a vacant lot in Oviedo with her face brutally disfigured and her body destroyed. Elsa, the young victim, was a student at an institute in the area and those assigned to the investigation, in the regional newspaper and in the police, are the journalist Olivia Marassa and the inspector Agustín Castro. When the news breaks, they have both been away for several days and Olivia seems to be late for the exclusives. But she has shown before that she doesn't give up easily and that she has a nose for lies and the most gruesome cases. She soon begins to investigate on her own and discovers that the victim had many secrets and enemies. Students younger and older than her, as well as her teachers, feared her for her abusive and violent behavior...
