Months after the Dry Flood pandemic wiped nearly all of humanity off the face of the Earth, Toby and Ren have rescued their friend Amanda from the clutches of ruthless paintbalists. Together, they return to the hut of the Madmen. Whose reluctant prophet, Jimmy -Snowman-, weakened with fever, makes Toby have to preach crackers' theology. Zab, on the other hand, has been looking for Adam One, founder of the Gardeners of God, the ecologist and pacifist religion from which he himself disassociated himself years ago to guide the loco-Adamians in their active resistance against the destructive action of SegurMort.
