Lumpen

Bonilla, Aixa

Lumpen gives voice to the harrowing experiences of the excluded, of those who never find themselves in their place, who sail through life in an old boat without guessing the course. It is a book as clever as it is moving, full of urban and philosophical references, but also from the media, television, cinema and pop culture in general. His texts are small hits with a fast and dynamic rhythm that is very reminiscent of "Spoken Words", poetic recitals that combine the word, its intonation, its rhythm, with different theatrical elements. Lumpen can be read as a performance of the dizzying life of an outcast who has spent her whole life trying to fit into a world that is uncomfortable, difficult, sometimes unacceptable.
