Her feeling of loss after her death inspired him in her work as an artist. She studied Art and stood out for her talent as a painter and engraver. Fernand Léger saw something special in her work and encouraged her to explore with three-dimensional objects. She moved to New York, where she began her artistic career that lasted more than sixty years. She is considered one of the most outstanding sculptors in the world.
