A literary festival brings together African writers on the island of Mozambique. It is an event that everyone is looking forward to, as unusual as it is for authors from the continent to be invited to events of this type. And that's why you smell the nerves and anxiety, and, above all, the satisfaction and intrigue of knowing the result. But events take place in a different, radical direction: an impressive storm cuts off electricity and communications. The guests will be isolated for almost seven days, blind. And then the egos enter the conflict, the uncertainty grows. And, furthermore, figures walk around the island that seem to have come out of the writers' own books, voices can be heard. Is it a storm or the end of the world? Are they still alive or, unknowingly, dead? For a week, and perhaps forever, the barrier between reality and fiction disappears, the ghosts of the past are interlocutors of the present. And, meanwhile, the dawn of the future resists...
