Los sonámbulos
Wendig, Chuck
Shana wakes up one morning to discover that her little sister has fallen prey to a strange disease. She looks like she has become a sleepwalker. She is unable to speak and to wake up, and she sets out with relentless determination to a destination known only to her. But Shana and her sister are not alone. They are soon joined by a band of sleepwalkers from all over the United States, on the same mysterious journey. Like Shana, there are other shepherds who follow the herd of sleepwalkers in an attempt to protect their friends and family on the long and dark road ahead. On their journey, they will discover an America convulsed by terror and violence, where this new apocalyptic epidemic is less dangerous than the fear of it. As the rest of society collapses around them, and an ultraviolent militia threatens to exterminate them, the fate of the sleepwalkers seems to hinge on unraveling the mystery behind the epidemic. This terrifying secret can both tear the entire nation apart and unite the survivors in their quest to remake a devastated world.
