Los imperdonables

Unforgivable, Cristina Campo, like Hugo von Hofmannsthal, Marianne Moore or Gottfried Benn, because her passion is perfection: "The passion for perfection comes late. Or, rather, it manifests itself late as a conscious passion". These are the first sentences of the text "The unforgivables" that gives the title to this book, in which her writings on fables were gathered, on authors in whom she recognizes herself and whose reading reaches to the very bottom of her being to show them without masks, in their absolute nakedness, as William Carlos Williams confessed intimidated.
