Los cuatro libros

Confucio

These four books, which Confucius did not write personally, are the canon of his school, also known as "of the Letters". Compared to the anarchizing individualism of Taoism, Confucianism represents the social dimension of man, whose morality is defined by duty, position and function, whether in the family or in the State. Texts that demonstrate that Chinese history and culture are as incomprehensible without the doctrines of Confucius as European ones are without Greek philosophy and Christianity.
