In these eleven stories, with an intimate atmosphere, Clara Pastor reveals her unique universe, located in diffuse geographies but in very precise environments, recognizable by the subtle feelings of the characters. In many of these stories, desires are born and die inadvertently for their protagonists -who try not to alter the calm surface of appearances, although they seldom succeed- except perhaps when they are children. A beautiful book, which delights both for its prose, natural and fluid, and for the dexterity with which the author pulls the threads of the plot, and fascinates for all that it hints at and delivers to the imagination and sensitivity of the reader.
