Lodo
la asfixia del Mar Menor
Méndez, Begoña
A small farmland owner refuses to sell his farm to agribusiness magnates. Shortly after his house appears burned down. "That fire is the signal for the start of a war," the author tells us, "and war is impossible without the presence of the enemy." That little anecdote is enough to understand that we are witnessing a combat in which several species are risking their survival, and in which the enemy is much more defined than it seems.
