Lobos doentes
Tizón, Antonio
At the foot of the Tower of Hercules appears the corpse of a man hiding in his jacket the logo of a Russian flag and the address of three brothels. This will be the first of a series of crimes that refer to different authorities that seem to have a single point in common: the application of the law of retaliation. This novel, in which the policeman Sánchez Pereiro is transformed into another of the many sick wolves fighting for survival, owes its title to Rosalía's poem "A xusticia pola man". Antonio Tizón takes advantage of this context to deepen the recurring theme of revenge, linked to 11-M as the historical framework of the plot, and again focuses, as in previous works, on the impunity of power in the face of crime or the confusion between madness and evil. Although now, in "Lobos doentes", the narrative also tries to decipher the darkness surrounding certain sexual tendencies.
