When we enter the technology section of a shopping center, we find ultralight laptops, USB cables, latest-generation smartphones, smartwatches, biometric wristbands, and even special cameras for YouTubers. We tend to associate technology with the latest electronic gadgets that, for better or worse, have colonized our daily lives. One of the greatest horrors of contemporary life is running out of battery or without connection, as if we were lost in an unknown dimension of reality, far from the world and our fellow human beings. But technology is a much broader thing. And much older. One day far away, tens of thousands of years ago, some hominid smashed one stone against another and created a flint knife. This journey begins with that primate: that of the history of technology at the dawn of our species. And without the need for Wi-Fi or a plug. Since then, humanity has traveled an exciting path, from the invention of plastic to space exploration, which together we will discover through the technological discoveries that changed the course of history.
