Annual, summer 1921. A place and a date burned into the memory of Spain. The beginning of one of the greatest military disasters in the history of our country. The germ of many evils that still make up the collective imagination today. Tragic outcome of a colonial adventure plagued by adventurism, laziness and corruption, but also examples of heroism, dedication and sacrifice. Ángel, the humble Castilian soldier who leaves his native Soria for the first time. Manuel, the military skeptic, misplaced former police officer, in charge of a ministerial investigation. Diego, a dreamy and loving officer who tries to fulfill his duty with courage and honor. The lives of the three protagonists, all of them from very different origins, take place separately in a war scenario that will finally end up involving them and leading their paths towards an end in which the tragedy they experienced will leave an indelible mark on them.
