Liquideu Einstein
González Castro, Andrés
In February 1923, Albert Einstein, then already the most prominent scientist on the planet, visited Catalonia to give several lectures on the most advanced theories of modern physics. But he was not loved or recognized by everyone. In Germany, some sectors did not want a Jew - moreover, a pacifist - to be the leading figure in their scientific community. That's why they planned to liquidate him. In Barcelona. Suffocated by the defeat in the First World War, Germany was the most turbulent country of those years, with a lot of poverty and unemployment. Moreover, it was beginning to be a dangerous place for its Jewish citizens, who, in the midst of national and racial madness, were accused of all evils. From this murky environment emerges the young Otto Guttmann, Jewish and violinist like Einstein himself, who will play a decisive role in the outcome of the murderous plot.
