Libertad económica en España

¿por qué hay unos españoles más libres que otros?

Cabrillo, Francisco

Spaniards are increasingly aware of the importance of residing in one autonomous community or another for their lives, their work and their businesses. Those who live in the regions with the most interventionist governments pay more taxes and yet do not enjoy better public services. They see that their life is more regulated and they find themselves with restrictions and rules of all kinds that they cannot understand, both when undertaking a new activity and when choosing their children's school or even when trying to do the shopping on a Sunday. One of the most important effects of decentralization is that the autonomous communities can compete by offering different services and regulations and significantly influence the fiscal effort of their residents. And experience shows that this is beneficial for people, especially those who live in the freer regions of the country.
