Les mares no abandonen

The protagonist is reunited after thirty years with her nonagenarian grandmother who lives in a residence and suffers from advanced dementia. The impact of this reunion leads her to remember her childhood marked by her parents' divorce in the 1980s, her mother's depression and the relationship she had with her grandparents and father. In this relived past, in those memories of a grandmother who never knew how to be a grandmother and a mother who never knew how to be a mother, the protagonist of this novel, confronting her past, she has to decide which mother she wants to be for her daughter. A story of mothers and daughters, which tells us about the second opportunities that rarely present themselves in our lives.
