Lehenbiziko harria

The language of this stone town comes to us in the short novel Den ersten Stein (Den ersten Stein) by the writer Bernhard J. Mathiuet, the first to be published in Basque. In addition to this, he has published texts for adults "Ewigkeit Universum Mensch" (Eternity, the universe, man) and "Das tödliche Buch" (The killer book) as well as children's literature "Die Vulkaninsel" (The Island of the Volcano). Writers Arantzazu Martinez Etxarri and Fito Rodriguez have been bringing this book into Basque and writing an introductory text aimed at the local readership.
