Since the landing of Marvel comics in Spain in the spring of 1969 at the hands of Ediciones Vértice, several generations of readers have grown up reading these adventures, presented in our country wrapped in mesmerizing illustrations by Rafael López Espí and Enrique Torres Prat, Enrich. Those covers were etched in the retina of young readers, who enjoyed and dreamed of Marvel superheroes. Half a century later, and after years of complex restoration work, we recovered each and every one of the covers of the pocket format (taco) of the Marvel headers of Vértice. This first volume includes more than 200 covers (out of a total of 662 covers). This first volume includes the covers of the titles: The Fantastic Four, Dan Defensor, Captain Marvel, Spiderman, Coronel Furia and Estela Plateada, accompanied by numerous extras. This volume rescues and restores those covers to their original size, encapsulating the magic of those wonderful comics and serving as a tribute to two great illustrators and the late Ediciones Vértice.
