Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes

Las aventuras de Sherlock Holmes

Doyle, Arthur Conan
Vicente, Fernando (il.)

Arthur Conan Doyle was a magnificent author of medieval historical novels, science fiction and, in his later years, what we now know as "occult science". However, his most memorable works are those starring the great detective Sherlock Holmes and his inseparable companion, Dr. John Watson. The twelve stories compiled in this volume were published between 1891 and 1892 in The Strand Magazine and later published in book form. The author himself classified them as his favorite stories and they constitute the cornerstone of the so-called "Holmesian canon". After its publication, the genre was no longer the same.
