La última fiesta

Mackintosh, Clare

La Ribera is a newly opened luxury holiday complex on Mirrored Lake, a lake located on the border between Wales and England, which outrages the residents of Cwm Coed, the small Welsh town on the eastern shore, as they do not welcome an initiative designed for wealthy English tourists. When the body of Rhys Lloyd, the developer of the development, is found in the lake on New Year's morning, the investigation, which falls to Welsh police officer Ffion Morgan and English detective Leo Brady, promises to be a complicated task, not only because Ffion and Leo are from different police forces, but because the autopsy reveals that the victim may have been poisoned. As the investigation progresses, more and more secrets and lies are uncovered and the list of suspects grows. Apparently Rhys Lloyd was not a good man, and many people had reason to wish him dead.
