La ternera
Freijo Corbeira, Aurora
A single gesture was enough to turn her into a calf. Small, so much that she does not know that she has been placed in a place that does not belong to her. Abyss in hers her eyes of the sea and her gaze full of stupor. Her house has become without a place. Her neighbor's house -her friend's house- hers has made her a meat for the first time, without being old enough for it. Now everything is loneliness. The calf makes containment a sharp resource to narrate a reality that no one wants to see, that of abuse. She talks about pain and shame, imposed guilt and silence as a form of resistance. A book of a literary height that inevitably touches us. An uncomfortable book, hard and at the same time full of tenderness.
