La Rosalía

In just a few years, Rosalía has become one of the most influential and well-known artists in the world. Her mix of flamenco, pop, urban music and Latin music is, at the same time, commercial and experimental. In addition, her collaborations, her choreography, her video clips or her use of social networks establish bridges with the main creative fields of our time. Like the figure that has inspired him, this book also wants to be a protean and hybrid constellation of journalistic, reflective, poetic and critical talents around the Rosalía phenomenon. Thus, some of the authors in this volume address the relationship of their music with flamenco and new flamenco, the natural and the artificial, tradition and appropriationism, industry and chance, or the impossible assimilation of this artist to the genres and labels to use.
