La recivilización

We live in war. One against another. Against ourselves. Against nature. We live drunk on technology and arrogance, in the conviction that our survival is assured. However, it has never been more threatened than now, when we hit rock bottom as a civilization. Climate change, loss of species, wars over water and increasing violations of human rights. We strive to understand this crisis, although at the same time we flee forward trusting in technology or even deny it out of interest or fear. If science has the diagnosis and solutions well-tuned, why don't we make progress in resolving them?
