La rastra
Williams, Joy
In a near future marked by an environmental disaster, in which society rejects everything that comes from nature, Khristen, a teenager, sets out in search of her mother to the luxury resort where she was last seen. She is accompanied by a ten-year-old boy whom she has met at the school for young prodigies in which her mother admitted her, convinced that her daughter was special and that she is destined for something great. After a trip through a helpless America, fascinating and strange at the same time, turned into a lost paradise, they arrive at the resort, now occupied by a group of social outcasts, patients on the verge of death and the elderly who, organized as a form of resistance, they are willing to do anything, including the use of violence and sacrifice their own lives, to restore the values of the old world.
