La primera piedra

Alice Somerville's heritage lies buried under the marshy soil of the Scottish Highlands: two World War II Indian Scout motorcycles that her grandfather left buried at the end of the war. After many strokes, something that should never have been there is exposed, the body of a young man with two bullet holes. Karen Pirie, head of the Historical Cases Unit of the Scottish police, goes to the scene, and confirms her worst omens, the body and the two motorcycles have nothing to do with it. In reality, nothing is where it should be, and nothing is what it seems. Karen won't take long to understand that not everyone shares her desire for justice, or even the idea of what it should be.
