La perplexitat
Harlem, Brooklyn, Queens
Graupera, Jordi
Perplexity is a book about the moment when two human groups, or two people, are unable to understand each other and are perplexed by each other's expectations. To explain it, three axes are mixed. The first, the experience of ten years of living in New York - the period from Obama to Trump -, with the description of everyday life, people and life in New York and in the United States. The second, politics and history based on specific scenes, specific cultural realities, specific politicians. And the third, the author's inner reflections, with references to the past, doubts, hopes and failures, readings and events that make us grow, to perplexity itself.
