Martínez, Pascual

Ernesto Pitana realizes that as soon as he arrives at his new destination as a sergeant of the Civil Guard. But what he still does not know is that in the region the suicide rate of the rest of Spain is tripling, nor that in the town there is already a new case of hanging awaiting him. He also does not imagine how complicated things will be when the widow finds among the deceased's papers a mysterious snapshot in which five teenagers appear, including her husband. Sergeant Pitana, accompanied by the impetuous Corporal Montero and in collaboration with the psychologist Lara Campos, will try to unravel what is hidden behind the photograph, made in equal parts silence and secrets, in that centennial, parched and magnetic landscape in that country. of suicide bombers.
