La ocupación

It was I who left W., after a relationship of six years. Out of exhaustion but also from not seeing me capable of exchanging my freedom, recovered after eighteen years of marriage, for a life together that he fervently wanted from the beginning. A few months later, W. announced to me that he was going to live with a woman whose name he did not want to tell me. From that moment I fell prey to jealousy. The image and the existence of the other woman became an obsession, as if she had penetrated inside me. That is the occupation I describe here.
