La (nueva) era de la anomalía
la competitividad y la innovación revisitadas
Larrea Jiménez de Vicuña, José Luis
In a time of constant transformation and transition between paradigms, uncertainty and complexity herald a new Age of Anomaly, in which the singular and the abnormal will be the dominant norm, so that the anomaly will become (n)omaly. It is not the end of the world, but the beginning of a new world. This new era requires revisiting concepts such as innovation and competitiveness. We need to revisit innovation, which is transformation itself, from the perspective of a world led by people. Thus, we arrive at the purpose of the forces to be put in place to progress, which is none other than the well-being of people and, moreover, of societies. The great pending debate on well-being is related to the concept of well-being that we agree on and raises the question of measuring progress. And we need to go beyond GDP, which poses a challenge to competitiveness. This is what the book is about. Transformation of the world, people and communities. Of a transformation that we must aspire to lead, for which it is essential that each of us, as individuals and as organizations, become aware of our position. A position that is the result of a process of discernment, in this case strategic, to set a purpose, a mission and a vision of what we want to build a strategic position as something alive and real, which helps us to walk in the new world in transformation.
