La niña amarilla
relatos suicidas desde el amor
Quesada, María de
Each chapter of The Yellow Girl is a real story in the first person that tries to bring light and love to suicidal behavior in adolescence and youth. The journalist María de Quesada recounts her experience, that of a suicide attempt in 1995, and gives voice to another twenty stories hidden behind the taboo and stigma that surround this reality in Spain and in the world. The objective of this book is to put ourselves in the place of those who suffer to the point of wanting to stop living, to talk about suicide as a social and public health problem that does exist and to accompany people in a vulnerable moment of life, to encourage them to ask for help today and now. Talking about suicide saves lives because it is the first step in preventing it.
